I cannot begin to tell you how happy I was the instant these arrived! From a distance, I couldn't tell the difference when placed next to a real candle and I promise you'd be guessing too with this awesome design. This candle set has all the benefits of a real candle minus the soot and fire hazard. The candle definitely has a directional to the focus of the light. The warmth of the electronics heats up the was slightly such that the vanilla scent is dispersed. It comes with a remote which is nice, you can turn them on and off with the remote even from a distance. It also has time settings so you can set them to turn off automatically at 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. They work great! They do require 3 AAA batteries each though and they are not included. The candle themselves, (all 4 sizes) feel like real candles - but most importantly look real. They would be perfect for housewarming party, wedding gift or just to anyone who enjoys candles in their home.
